Our Story
“ I didn’t build Burning Bridge Productions out of thin air.
It came from a place — and a moment — that changed the way I see stories forever.For a long time, I worked inside the Samuel Miller Mansion, a building with beautiful bones and a history that vibrates through the walls if you sit still long enough. It wasn’t just another old mansion. It was once the Bank and Bridge Company which controlled the fate of the Columbia–Wrightsville Bridge — the same bridge the Union army decided to burn during the Civil War to stop Confederate forces from advancing to try and take Harrisburg. This, in turn, shifted the battle to Gettysburg.
I remember the day I really learned the story.
Not just the textbook version — the human version.Picture it: an entire community standing on the riverbank, watching flames consume a bridge built with their own hands. A bridge that connected towns, families, livelihoods. And yet, in that moment, they chose to sacrifice it. They chose courage over comfort. They chose to destroy something important to protect something even more important.
That decision rerouted the war.
It literally redirected history.And it lit something in me.
I realized that sometimes you have to burn the old path — even the one you’ve spent years walking — if you want to build something stronger on the other side. Sometimes an ending isn’t a loss… it’s ignition.
That’s where Burning Bridge Productions comes from.
My work is shaped by that mixture of remembrance and rebirth. I honor the stories, the people, the moments that brought me here — but I’m not afraid to burn away what no longer serves the vision. Every project I take on carries that philosophy: real emotion, real atmosphere, real transformation.
Because we don’t just remember history…
